Not Receiving Notifications

Hello, we just set up our Nest Doorbell yesterday but we are not receiving notifications at all. We checked our Iphone settings and in the Google Home App, all notifications are on but it’s not coming to our phones. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!

I understand that you installed a Nest Doorbell a few days ago and it works well, but for some reason, you are not receiving notifications even though you have already checked the settings on your iPhone and in the Google Home app. Don't worry, I'm here to help!

I would like to ask you a few questions so I can proceed with the troubleshooting steps:

  • Which iPhone model do you have?
  • Is your Nest Doorbell appearing as online in the Google Home app?
  • Have you configured your notifications for email only, or for push notifications?
  • Do you have the latest version of the Google Home app?
  • Do you have any other Nest or Home device set up in the Google Home app?

In the meantime, I would like to provide you with some troubleshooting steps that might help:

  • Please check if Do Not Disturb is off.
  • Please check if you receive notifications via email.
  • Please check if you are signed into the correct account.
