I recently purchased a new Indoor/Outdoor Nest camera (battery), and am now learning that you are only able to view the camera through the Google Home App? Why would the Nest app not support a Nest camera?
The newer cameras are supported in the Google Home app and for the Google Home web. I can only guess, but looks like the move will be away from the Nest app and mostly to the Google Home app for devices.
