Notifications no longer working

I am no longer receiving notifications for activity from my doorbell camera or my outdoor camera. I suspect this change occurred after the latest iOS update on my phone was installed. I was receiving numerous notifications on my watch and phone, and now nothing unless someone rings the doorbell. All notifications are on. My phone has been rebooted. Still no notifications. Oddly, other members in my household are still receiving notifications.  One of those people has the exact same phone/model as me. Any suggestions on a fix? It defeats the point of having a camera with notifications, if the notifications aren’t being received. Thanks.

I responded to a previous comment from you, but it seems to be gone now. Notifications are working again. Apple released an update that seemed to have the fix.

I had this happen as well.  For me a full power down of the phone for about 2 minutes and then powering it back up did the trick.  It has something to do with the cell network and how the pathway of the alerts.  But doing this you re-register the phone on the network. 

Let me know if this works for you like it did me.

Unfortunately, that did not work for me. I powered the phone off for a good half hour. I’ll try again, but I’m not hopeful. I feel like this happened to me in the past after an iOS update. 

Hmmmm, sorry that didn't fix it.  I'm out of ideas but hopefully someone else will chime in here and come up with something.

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I am terribly sorry to hear that you have had such a hard time with this! I would love to look into this issue further and help find a solution for you. First off, I have some questions I’d like to ask you.

  • Do you still need help with this issue?

  • What troubleshooting steps have you done thus far? 

  • Have you tried to restart your device if you haven’t already?

  • If the restart didn’t work, have you tried to do a Factory Reset? This would be a last resort option, but would clear out issues and the device would essentially be ‘brand new’

I signed out of my nest account on the phone and signed back in and the alerts are back.

I am Having the same issue. I have To continually delete the app and then restart my phone to start receiving notifications on my phone and watch. I have To do this every few weeks. It starts off not getting alerts then only getting worded motivations and then still pictures. I do Not receive video notifications anymore to my watch. Please fix this issue it’s very frustrating and tedious

Do you use an iPhone? Have you updated to iOS 15? Wondering if that will be the fix for you like it was for Daisyplusthree. Please give that ago, restart your device a few times if you need, factory reset it if you absolutely need too, and try again. Please let me know if you still need assistance.

I also am not receiving camera or doorbell notifications on my iPhone, and it started when I upgraded to iOS 15. Rebooting did not help.

Did you update your iPhone to the latest update? I would suggest doing so, update your apps, and restart your devices. If you need too, Factory Reset the device, remove it all from your app and then add it back in, It is tedious, but can fix issues when notifications are not coming through. Please let me know if you still need assistance.

I never get notifications ever! Have u installed, updated, reset, everything.... Starting to wonder if ring is any better??
