Offline camera cascade

All of my Nest cameras went offline simultaneously but all of my wifi devices are still working. Any ideas?

I have this happen every now and then.  Typically at about 2AM when my phone alerts me that the cams are offline.  I believe this is because either the GOOGLE servers are doing some maintenance and are taken off line (but speculation on my part)

There is also this website you can check when this happens to see if in fact the Google nest servers are down.
