Outdoor Cam (Battery) Clips

My Nest Cam outdoor Battery seems to only record 30 second clips. Is that “normal”? Went out to sweep the porch the other day and was out there for several minutes moving around and it only captured 30 seconds.

Under Settings | Video, what do you have "Maximum event length" set to?  We have ours set to 3 minutes, but ours is plugged in, so we don't have to worry about draining the battery.
