Outdoor Wired Nest Camera (2nd Generation) Fails on Connecting to Joining Device

Hi, I am unable to connect my new Nest camera to my home. I have the spot ready to mount, but when powering it on it won't connect.

 

The device boots, white light flashes, blue light turns on. When setting up the app, the set up fails on "Connecting to Joining Device".

 

Things I have tried:

 

  1. Move closer to router.
  2. Unplug for 1 minute.
  3. Factory reset device.
  4. Attempt pairing from another device in the home.
  5. Use another power cable.
  6. Use Guest Wifi Network.

I am running out of ideas. Before I return it for another device, is there anything else I should do for this?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, do you see a blue light pulsing? What is/are your other Nest devices? What is the make and model of your mobile phone? How did you perform the reset?
