Outdoor nest cam power cord disintegrated

The protective insulation on the cord for my Nest Cam Outdoor has completely disintegrated. Is it possible to get a replacement cable?

Neither the Google Store nor Best Buy sell replacement cables for the older Google Nest Outdoor Camera. Further, since the portion of the cord that runs from the camera to the outdoor charging block is hard-wired into the camera, it wouldn't be possible to replace it without opening up the sealed camera.

We have 3 of the Google Nest Outdoor Cameras. Most of our cords are INSIDE the garage, but if any of them disintegrate, I think I'll wrap each wire in electrical tape and then wrap the wires in duct tape.

Sometimes you can find replacements for the portion of the cord that runs from the outdoor charging block to your electrical outlet by searching 3rd-party sites online.
