We have newly installed NEST cameras, including a CAM with Floodlight facing our backyard that keeps reporting Person Events. No one is there or heard when I review the videos. The settings for Events with Notifications is People only with Heard Events off. I do not see any movement of trees or bushes. I saw this issue was reported previously, but no resolution was offered.
Our other Floodlight CAM for our Driveway is working fine, but the basement one keeps creating Events when no one is there, and no motion is present that I can see! An actual Event is generated correctly if I walk by the camera. Is there something wrong with this Floodlight CAM? Help Please. We need to determine if we will be keeping all these NEST devices.
Has there been any progress with this issue? Thanks.

This issue keeps happening! Today I have had 15 Events from 6:24 am to 1:13 pm.

I called support directly, and after providing some information, I was instructed to remove the camera from the Home App and reset it. I did so and will update if this helped.

Hey CFH2022,
Sounds like a plan — I'm dropping by to ensure that everything is covered here. Let us know if it happens again.
Thanks,

Hi there,
It looks like we can consider this one complete, so I will be locking this in 24 hours if we won't hear back from you again. Feel free to start a new thread and we'll be happy to help.
Cheers,
JT

Update: Removing and resetting the camera seems to have worked. I hope this helps.
