Peeling Faceplate (dead battery to boot)

EmilT

My roughly two year old Hello with peeling faceplate just like hundred's of others. Not expecting to get this resolved just though I'd add to the pile and maybe Google will do something about it so future customers will not be screwed. Mine has got a dead battery that forced me to turn off the indoor chime in order not to lose video. Thsi seems to be an ongoing problem as well with 1-1/2 to 2 year old units. Two of my nest thermostats have been troublesome as well and were replaced under warranty. Both working OK for now (fingers crossed) I am so not impressed with Google as a hardware company... Will avoid any of their products in the future as they don't seem to have their engineering together. A $250/300 units aren't supposed to be disposable!
