Preview not working

I cannot understand why the preview is not working for nest doorbell. Using a OnePlus 9. Any suggestions out there?

Hi Fabio13, 

 

Oh no! Let’s get this sorted out — a few questions:

 

  1. Do you have an active Nest Aware subscription?
  2. Is this happening when you first install your doorbell?
  3. Are there any Activity Zones set up for the doorbell?
  4. Are there other family members who can access the doorbell? Do they receive the same notification?

 

Try to turn off and on all the notification settings in the Google Home app then check for the preview again.

Please my answers below :

Do you have an active Nest Aware subscription? Yes for many years.

Is this happening when you first install your doorbell? I've had the doorbell and subscription for years. This issue strated about a month ago.

Are there any Activity Zones set up for the doorbell? Yes. 1.

Are there other family members who can access the doorbell? Yes

Do they receive the same notification? Yes. Same issues as above. 

Try to turn off and on all the notification settings in the Google Home app then check for the preview again. There is no specific notifications tab in the home app. I have deleted and reinstalled both several times.

Thanks for getting back to us, @Fabio13. Let's make sure the Nest app and your phone are synced and updated. Follow the steps below:

 

  1. Check for any Android updates or iOS updates.
  2. Uninstall the Google Home app.
  3. Restart your phone and reinstall the app.
  4. Check if you´ll be able to see the live feed, if not, proceed to the next step.
  5. Login with your account to the Google Home website.
  6. Check the live feed.

Did not fix the issue. Still cannot see preview during notifications.
