Problem to access ICSee camera

Hello,

I recently purchased home hub but can't get third party icsee cameras to connect even though the connection shows icsee , but when enter with username and password doesn't show no camera to bing. With ICSee app the 2 camera works great.

The cameras are WiFi operated .

Hi everyone,
 

Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted out.

 

A few questions: are you using a dual-band router? If yes, on which band is the ICSee camera connected? Is Chrome your phone’s default browser? Try to access this link on your phone’s browser, and then log in your ICSee account. Let us know how it goes.

I followed your instructions but it still doesn't work in the end it tells me 4000 wrong username or password. I'm sure the login details are correct because they were tried again on the icsee app

I think the problem is not this, but server because I tried to make another different account with other cameras with another google account the problem is always the same.

Hi all,
 

Since we’re getting issues on the login part on ICSee’s portal, I suggest contacting ICSee support to check if there’s an ongoing update with their integration with Google Home. Let us know what suggestions they will provide.

exactly same fail issue here in AU. Followed every hint and instruction to no avail. looking forward to a solution.

According to the last reply by Google they have given up and shifted responsibility on to icsee.  😞

Hi, I have the same problem actually. I sent an assist to google to get some help at the beginning of this week but still no answer.

The problem is :

- live from ICSEE OK

- when I try to add ICSEE to google home with "works with google" function, with good login and password as entered in ICSEE, google home says "Wrong password"...

Hi folks,

 

Thanks for the details you've shared. The partner itself manages the URL portal used to link partners in the Google Home app. Issues encountered when linking a partner (home control) should be directed to that home automation partner for support. Partners are expected to support the integration of their products with Google Nest and Home devices.

Hello,

 

I do agree with you but from my point of view of Google products consumer, I assume to ask to Google when I have issues, not to that partner which Google Home deals with.

I got kinda of the same issue. I did manage it to get it in the Google Home app and it starts loading for thumbnail, but when I press on the camera it gives me back this message. “This video stream can’t be viewed here. If you have a smart display or Chromecast, you can ask the assistant to stream it there.”
Even when thumbnail is loaded up in Google Home, the message stays the same. 

When I ask to load it on Chromecast the stream works. 

Is there a solution already to get to a point that you can get the stream loaded up in Google Home itself?

Also the stream connection is poor. Camera is wired and works fine from out of the icsee app. Stream on Chromecast stops after a short while.

How did you manage to get that thumbnail ?

I have 2 Google Nest Hub and none can display my Icsee cam (OK with Xiaomi cam).
