Recover night vision recording colours

I have footage recorded from the latest Nest Cam wired camera. Even though there was low level lighting throughout the night, recordings were in Nightvision black and white for most of it. The few colour clips are much easier to review. I don't suppose there is any means to convert the back and white video into colour through the meta data or AI (or anything else)?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. When night vision is on, video is streamed in black and white, even if there’s plenty of light in the scene. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send feedback to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this. Please let me know if you have other questions or concerns.
