Hoping for some guidance and advice.
I have fitted my nest doorbell using a 45 degree wedge so as not to have the wall butting up to the door on the right in the shot (on the right : this is good)…
However, there is glass in my door and at night the light from the hall is shining through and firing off motion alerts… you can see from the picture below where there is a shine…
I have just setup an activity zone : do you think that will work? Assume that will force it to only fire when action happens in the zone?
Or Should I just change the angle of the camera and accept the wall on the right constantly to be in the shot?

Looks like the right setup. If the light triggers motion again, move the red zone just slightly further away from the door. Sometimes the activity zones can be a little difficult to work with.
