Renamed Wifi and now Google Doorbell battery not connecting to WiFi

I needed to change the name to my WiFi. I successfully reconnected Samsung phone and other Home devices to get reconnected except for my batter Google Door bell. I removed it from Nest, restarted Google mesh, tried to re-add it, and it gets stuck trying to connect to my device. All help appreciated.

  • Had this issue too. I needed a factory reset and then adding as a new device in Nest. 
    Reset is done by using the pin in the reset hole at the back and pressing the doorbell button at the same time for approximately 10 sec. After that I had to disconnect the doorbell for some time. Try it.
