I recently inherited a Nest Doorbell from a family member's estate. Almost all parts were in the box, BUT the base plate. Tried finding a replacement part online instead of having to buy or replace the one I currently have. There seems to be heavy restrictions to buy replacements parts from Google Directly. The only options available are to buy one 3D Printed by someone or MacGyver a base yourself with a magnet and some adhesive strips.
I want to know if buying the replacement base plate is an option. If not, I will put together something that works myself. There is no point waiting days to get a replacement, ship back the one I WANT to keep & risk being put on a mailing list. If I wanted to go through that, might as well as make money reselling it.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

Google Nest simply does not sell any spare parts, unlike some of its competitors.
