Hi folks,

Not sure if this helps, but previously it has been stated that the Doorbell Terminal Screws are M3x4 mm, 7 mm diameter head. I am not entirely sure if this was for the Nest Doorbell (2nd Gen) or not. However, you can see about finding those screws at a hardware store, possibly.

Best regards,

Brad

Brad. The device is less than 3 months old?

@GnarleyH

If your device is less than a year old, that means we should be able to assist you further. I see that you have a case with support, I would advise you to continue working with them as we are unable to process these claims in the forums. Thank you for your patience.

Best regards,

Brad

@GnarleyHdid you find out how to get a replacement screw? I'm in the same boat as I need a replacement security screw and google support chat was worthless

@TwinCitiesafter several hours back and forth with google support I was told that I should go to a hardware store to. It a replacement. I asked for the measurements of the screw and they could not provide it either. I am very disappointed in the outcome.

@BradGoogle support was unable to assist in any way

@GnarleyHthat’s disappointing but not shocking with the level of support received by Google. It’ll make you think twice of purchasing Google products in the future bc of their support

@TwinCitiesagreed. I saw Ring offers replacements when I was searching. They also cost half as much.

That is the terminal screws for the hello.  We’re talking about the security screw in the top of the 2nd gen doorbell

I am having the same issue. I've contacted support multiple times but won't provide an answer. They say to have it uninstalled, bring to an hardware store and randomly try different screws until one fits, then have reinstalled... Does anyone know the correct size of the security screw (wired 2nd gen)? I got the M3x4mm as suggested in this post and they were way too big and didn't work.

Is there someone from sourcing we can talk to? They include the screws in the box, so you have to source them from somewhere. How do you source them to include in the box if you don't know what size to order?

Exactly the same argument I had with support.

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response, but as we do not offer replacements for parts, I cannot offer any further information as the only available information to us has been shared in a previous response. Your best bet is to contact support for that information, or research further online. I wish I had the information available to me, but it simply is not available to us in the forums. As there is nothing further we can offer regarding this thread, we will be locking and closing this thread at this time.

Best regards,

Brad
