Schedule for best cam (battery)

How is there not the basic function of scheduling my cameras to a set schedule!!!

Google Nest decided that the new Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in 2021 would work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website.  As a result, the new cameras and doorbells are missing some of the functions of our older cameras and doorbells; that includes the "Schedule" function, which is present in the Google Nest app but not the Google Home app.

Google Nest's Vice President offered this explanation in this post from Sept. 2021; there has been no update since then:

So we are investing thousands into a system, that lacks basic functions of a security camera?
