Second Camera wont add to Nest

Hello,
I've had my old google outdoor camera working on the nest app for about 5 years. I recently bought a 2nd camera, and I can not get it to add to nest. It shows in google home, but I want it to work with nest and the alerts, and zone etc.

How do I get to to sync between google home and nest?

You cannot, as we discovered when we bought a 2nd gen battery camera in Sept. 2021; the 2nd gen cameras and doorbells can only be installed in the Google Home app.

However, you CAN upgrade to the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app, and then "transfer" your 1st gen cameras and doorbells from the Google Nest app to the "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/13038234). We have NOT done so because there are still so many Nest app features that are NOT in the Google Home app; here is a PARTIAL list:

Thanks for the info, and I feel the need to state, that is a horrible user experience...

For almost three years now, we've been using the Google Nest app for our older cameras and doorbells, and the Google Home app for our two newer cameras, with no end in sight.
