I am currently using two original indoor Nest Cams for viewing outside the house through windows. I have purchased third party infrared bulbs located outside the house for night light sources. However, I have had to use electrical tape to cover the Nest Cam internal infrared lights due to excessive glare from the glass.
Is there any way to turn off the internal infrared lights on the camera when using night vision, so I do not have to cover the lights with tape, or is there a third party solution that will allow me to remove the tape without getting the window glare?

Thanks Brad,
I understand I'll have to cover the infrared lights with electrical tape, or some other form of cover. I've done two already, I can handle a couple more.

Chris

Unfortunately the cameras do not enable that amount of customization so the only option to remove the IR sensor is to physically cover it as you have been.
