Someone stole my iphone and deleted the video history of them stealing it, can I recover that video?

I had a guest over and while I was asleep they took my iphone which I guess I had an app open that prevents the screen from locking so they were able to get into my phone freely. They saw the Home app and the notifications of motion I assume and went ahead and deleted the events that they were in. Is there any way for me to recover this footage? Ive tried the takeouts that google technical support provided but it didnt have any videos at all. Please help me so I can give the footage to the police.
