I bought the Nest Cam outdoor/indoor (battery) and had temperature issue since day 1 (on my 3rd day now).
(1) Using my hand to move the camera triggered the "temperature issue", but it got back to functioning when I placed it down.
(2) The camera seems to be fine at the night when temperature is around 3 celsius degrees, but when at 12-17+ degrees outside it triggers the "temperature issue" throughout the whole day until the temperature decreases down a lot
I'm using a cable with Nest Aware Plus for 24/7 recording.
How can this be solved?

Hi! Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I do still need help with this issue. It works perfectly fine when it's under 12 degrees, but anything above will make it turn off due to temperature issues

@Anonymous
These are powered by batteries, so naturally colder weather is not going to be the best or them. Please look over this article and I hope it can shed some light on your same issue you may be having.
Best regards,
Brad.

There's a misunderstanding, the problem is opposite of what you're stating here.
It works only in colder temperature, but turns off when above 12 celsius degrees.
