I’m renting my home to a family member, and I want to give them access to the Nest devices in the house (primarily doorbell camera, but also thermostats and smoke detectors). I follow the directions in the Google Home app, and when I enter in their email, I get a pop up message that says "Can't send invite right now. Try again later." There is *ZERO* information about why I get this message, and the only Community post with a similar problem is someone who was trying to grant access to their child, which is not the case for me. The person I am trying to grant access to does not have a gmail address, so I’m not sure if that’s the issue (if it is, that’s pretty dumb, because not everyone uses gmail).
I don’t want to have to uninstall everything and have them reinstall on their own account. I just want to add access for them. What is the problem here?

Hi Brian4rd. Not sure why that isn't working but you can try another person (maybe one with a GMAIL address and see if it works). If it does then just revoke their email address afterword since it is just a test.

Unfortunately, I think Google requires that family members have to have a Google Account: "Keep in mind that only home members who also sign in with a Google Account will be able to see your Nest products in the Nest app." - https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9304271?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid#zippy=%2Cdiff...
