Turn off camera for the whole family

Hello,

I would like to know if I turn off my wired nest doorbell camera with the android app, will it be turned off for the whole family or just for me?

I want to do a surprise for my wife, but I don't want her to receive a notification of me entering the house... so if I disable the camera and notification on the nest app, will it disable it for her app on her phone as well?

Hiya!

It should disable all notifications for the camera across all devices, but you can try to ask someone to test it for you.

If all hope is lost what you can do is complete turn off the camera for the day of the Suprise, then turn it back on afterwards. If neccarry you could check her phone to see if it's disabled for her as well.

If you turn off a Google Nest camera in the Google Nest app or Google Home app, it is turned off--for everyone.
