Unable to connect Echo Show with new 2021 Google Nest indoor cameras (wired).

I am unable to to connect my Echo Show with the 2021 Google Nest indoor cameras. I tried various methods. Through the Alexa app, it attempts to connect using Google Nest versus Google Home. And since these cameras now operate through Google Home, the Alexa app is unable to locate the account or camera devices because it is trying to go through Google Nest. Is there any work around on this? I didn’t even see an option for Google Home or the nest cameras when trying to manually pair it with in the Alexa app.
thanks.

The new cameras that use the Home app do not have integration with Alexa.  I don't know that they ever will, but maybe at some point they'll do so?   It seems like Google is pushing for people to use their whole ecosystem (e.g. Google Assistants, etc).

hopefully they will make them work or people will just buy ring, blink, arlo, wyze or anything that does work.

Hey folks.

As of April 18th 2022, the following devices are now available for purchase on Amazon: Nest Cam (outdoor or indoor, battery), Nest Cam (indoor, wired), Nest Cam with floodlight, and Nest Doorbell (battery). We are also working closely with Amazon to enable Alexa skills support for these devices, and will share more information as we have it.

Best regards,

Brad.
