Unable to connect new Nest battery cameras to existing GoogleHome or Nest Home

I just got my 2 pack Nest Battery cameras and tried to add to existing Google Home. I do the add device+ on the Google Home app and it redirects me to Nest App. I do the add device+ and scan the label code and it redirects me back to Google Home.

I have tried 2 days different ways but can not figure out what is wrong with these products. Should I just give up and return? My 2 previous hard electric wire cams worked fine. Just feeling helpless. Please Help if any ideas..

I'm sorry for not reading your post carefully. I'm just another Google Nest customer. Is it possible you don't have the latest version of the Google Home app? This thread suggests that MIGHT be the problem: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/Problem-Adding-Camera-vicious-circle/td...; see "mdr2" post. Google locked the thread with no information from Google.

What if you edit the title of your post to make your problem clearer, in hopes that either another customer or Google Nest Support notices it? Something like:

"Nest Battery Cam install incorrectly directs me to Nest app, which directs me to Home app, which again incorrectly directs me to Nest app"

You might have to resort to contacting Google Nest Support if no one responds in this forum, at: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp?hl=en

You are discovering what the rest of us who have purchased the new Google Nest cameras and doorbells released in the fall of 2021 have discovered. Rather illogically, these Google Nest cameras and doorbells do NOT work with the Google Nest app or the home.nest.com website.  They ONLY work with the Google Home app.

Google has posted its perspective on why they did this in these blogs on this forum; as you can see, a large number of customers disagree:

Thanks for that information. However my Google Home app installer says" This device uses Nest App to install-> then i try Nest App + to add-> it goes back to Google Home app. It is a circle that i do not know how to get this installed. I got 3 new cameras from Google Nest and none can be installed. The video they have online does not help or solve problems... Also came with ONE charge cable only. Please advice.
