Hi all,
I havent been able to find anyone asking something similar but I would like to be alerted during the evening (through Do not disturb) if there is motion on my doorbell camera, is this possible?
We get notifications during the day when people pass our cameras (doorbell or mounted) (we also pay for face detection), but over night we go into DND so that we are not woken up if the weather is bad or cars are picked up etc.
I would like to be able to be alerted / alarm to sound on a phone / nest device if somoene passes our doorbell only, not any other cameras, would this be possible in some way using built in home notification/zones/cameras? Or would we need to use an external app to do this? Basically to turn it into an alarm if someone trys to enter the house

Hi there,
I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I'm terribly sorry to hear that you're having these troubles. I understand how upsetting this could be, but I'm happy to assist you with this obstacle. I am afraid that what you're asking is not a possibility while using Do Not Disturb. If it is turned on, your notifications are muted. You can learn more here.
Best Regards,
Brad

Would it be possible then to use a second device to sound a notification over night time hours?

Hi iammortos
Good question! Sound notification isn't a feature of the Nest Hello doorbell as it can only send you a camera alert or notification on your phone when it detects an activity (person, motion, sound, etc.).
You may give these steps a try:
Go to your phone settings > Notifications > Google Home app > Customize notifications.
Ensure the app you want to have a sound notification has alerts enabled.
Let me know how it goes.
Best,
JT
