Video was not recorded

Hello Team, 

Today morning when I got out of my house to drop my son, I realised someone has opened my car and left the door open. I have a camera right outside to capture the entire car. So I opened the app to see who did this, but sadly the camera did not record anything! I see a recording yesterday evening and then today when I saw the car open. No recordings in between! So basically the camera did not allow me to capture the thief. 

Is there a way I can go back to the videos ?

Hello, I'm an end user like you.   Do you know what level of Nest Aware subscription you have?  If you have the first level of "NEST AWARE" then you only get recording of EVENTS that the camera detects motion for.  This can sometimes fail and you end up with no recording and there is no way to get it after the fact.  I have tested many cameras on the market and they all have this flaw.   The reason I stick with Nest is because they offer NEST AWARE PLUS which means the camera records 24/7.  So if it misses an event then you can still go back and see what went on.   Also, the basic NEST AWARE might miss the beginning or end of an event and you can't see what you need to see.  The NEST AWARE PLUS fixes that issue as well.
