I have a wired nest doorbell. I’ve had it for about 2.5 yrs and now it only delivers still shots. Why won’t it play the video anymore?

You get "3 hours of photo snapshots of activity" if you are in the "Free tier" and your Google Nest Hello Doorbell is not enrolled in a Nest Aware subscription. This Google Nest Help page lists what you get with and without a subscription: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9681538
Did your Nest Aware subscription expire recently? Or have you moved your doorbell to another "home" in the Google Home app (or to another "structure" in the Google Nest app)?
If you go to your doorbell in the Google Nest app and select "Settings" and then "Nest Aware", it should say "Active" Nest Aware Plus" or "Active: Nest Aware" if your subscription is active.
If you go to this Subscriptions page in the Google Store, it should tell you your current Nest Aware subscription and when it ends: https://store.google.com/subscriptions?hl=en-US
