Viewing device in the nest app that I added in the Google home app

I was in the Nest app and tried adding a device to a new home that I had created in Google app. It sent me to the Google Home app where I set up the device. I can access the doorbell device from the Google Home app, but it is not showing on my Nest app.

What model of doorbell do you have? If you have the new Nest Doorbell (battery) or Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) those are designed for and managed in the Google Home app. They will not show up in the Nest app and there is no way for you to add them to the Nest app.

Thanks davidking. That’s what I read, but my husband installed it in his Nest & Google home and he could view it in the Nest app. Then when it didn’t show up on mine he deleted it thinking that I should install the second home under my account since I set up our first home. Now I can only view in Google home!

If it showed up in the Nest app at any point you don't have one of the models I'm talking about, and must have the original Nest Doorbell (wired, 1st gen). For that model, once setup in the Nest app, it will also appear in the Home app.
