Oh wow. You solved it for me. Thanks so much. I deleted and factory reset everything and deleted Google home. Took ages to add everything back on. But it works now. Thanks so much

It seams like a lot of us are having this issue. Google support are stumped. We have tried changing WiFi band to 2.4 only, factory reseting all my hub/minis. Factory resetting the doorbell, checking for do not disturb in the hub and nest minis. It's infuriating. I can ask the hub to show the feed from the doorbell so it must be set up ok. I also get the alerts to my phone quickly. I just don't get any alert to the nest minis or hub so we don't know that someone has pressed the doorbell unless we carry our phones around the house all day and make sure the sound is on. That's not a solution. It's a doorbell. It should make a sound when it is pressed. If anyone has fixed this issue there are quite a few of us with the same issue who would love the help

I am having the same issue. If it didn't have this function, I would not have bought it.

Hi there,
Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I can definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be. I would love to help you find a solution to this issue.
Do you still need help with this issue?
What troubleshooting steps have you done thus far?
Have you tried to restart your device if you haven’t already?
If the restart didn’t work, have you tried to do a Factory Reset? This would be a last resort option, but would clear out issues and the device would essentially be ‘brand new’
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Best Regards,
Brad.

Hi, did you factory resetting the device? I managed to get it working properly now. I am new to the Google ecosystem didn’t know much about it it now I kinda get the hang of it.
I suggest that you delete or removed your doorbell, Google hub, mini.. etc. Uninstalled the Google home app toggle the aeroplane mode on and off. Install the Google home app and try to add the new device. When you done all that, go to settings and turn the visitors announcement ON. It’s should working fine now.
Good luck with it and hope you can get it sorted. I loved it a lot now. Enjoyed:)

Don’t worry about the Nest account. I looked on the internet and YouTube, they’d the same problems and told us to go to Nest account but that would be so much complicated. Just got know how to factory resetting your doorbell properly and you shouldn’t be any problems with it. When resetting, pressed it for more than 12 seconds until the yellow light is flashing 4 times and you can hear the sound after that. Then go to goggle home app, try to add the device again. Make sure you use one Google account.
Keep me posted if you still have any problems, I am more than happy to help you further.
Cheers
