Just purchased a 65" Google TV. Want to be able to stream Nest video from my security cams but unable to. Tried installing Nest app on TV but unable to login because of the transition of Nest to Google yada yada... All I know is I cannot login to the Nest Google TV app (but can everywhere else) thus unable to stream video.
Thoughts?

Same issues with a Sony Android TV... seriously, and bought the new battery cameras, wont view in Nest App, or through a web browser.... colossal waste of money, steer clear.

Sounds like we bought the same TV. After hours of attempts, finally got a hold of Google and their so called customer service is a joke. I was tossed around like a hot potato from one rep to another - no one could resolve the issue so they putted often citing "that's not my department".
Get it together Google before you lose another customer.

This roll out of new cameras is just a train wreck..... the expectations were clear but the backend datacenter software is not primetime. If these reviews lose sales for Google on these products then sorry, they should lose the revenue. The Android TV issue should of been the canary in the coal mine for me, it never worked, and never accepted my credentials. I use two factor, however you would of thought they would of updated the android TV app to prompt a trusted device to accept the connection. All along they were retiring the app, and put ZERO effort to make it work, since their ultimate goal based on hidden and hard to find articles posted by dev management is to release something using Home app next year. No dates, no timelines, not goal posts..... I work for a software company, and get confidentiality agreements and not exposing your internal development cycles. However when you produce hardware with out the integration ALL Nest customers were expecting, is more than disappointing.

Appreciate the reply but respectfully, "hope" is not an acceptable solution or response. I spent a lot of money on Google products to include the TV, security cameras and related cloud subscription. For your product not to work AS ADVERTISED is tantamount to false advertising. Again, the root cause is related to Google's acquisition of Nest and its failure to properly integrate both frameworks to achieve a seamless experience for Google customers.
Please escalate to your leadership team for timely resolution.

I have the same problem, I can not log into the Nest App on the Google Chromecast Google TV (The white dongle device that plugs into any tv with a hdmi connection. I have spoken to Nest support and they are unable to resolve. I am looking for support from the Google ChromeCast department.
All I require is for the Nest app to offer the option of logging in with ones google account.
