Way to download footage with no event recorded for police report

There was a break in at my apartment complex this morning and I am watching through the footage and an event is recorded for a few seconds but there was activity that the camera did not record as an event. I would like to get a full length video seeing as I have the footage because my camera is connected to a power source and set to always record. 

Is there any way of exporting from time a to time b?

Since the Google Home app does NOT provide any way to manually edit video clips, the best you can do is to use whatever video capture tools your phone may have to record and save the video sequence you want.

Manually editing video clips is one of several capabilities that our older Google Nest app cameras and doorbells have that are not present for the newer cameras that work only in the Google Home app.
