When is the Nest Doorbell 3rd Gen coming to the UK?

No mention of the new Nest Doorbell coming to other tertories including the UK. I have been holding off from a purchase until 1 October so I could get the new version. Is there any release date for 3rd Gen Doorbell in the UK?

I don't know what they have against the UK but we are slowly being shut out from Google home. Thermostats, doorbells, early access to AI.

Some of folk in the UK have spend £££'s on a whole ecosystem of products. We have nest hellos that are sat shedding their plastic in the sun. Nest thermostats that are getting towards 8 years old with no upgrade path. Its nuts

I fully agree, I have my whole house kitted out with Google Home products, some of them such as the doorbell, like you mentioned are dated and shedding plastic. I’d happily start updating some of the products but I’m losing confidence. They have even made Nest Protect smoke alarms obsolete now too

We won't be getting it. We didn't even get the 2nd gen. Google are going downhill.

No idea and Google staff don't even know. It's like Google have given up on the UK Market for some unknown reason. They seem to be run like a small start-up.

a google employee on chat CLAIMS the new doorbell will be coming to the UK, but had no info... I agree. I just bought a new home and if they had the new doorbell, a new thermostat etc, I would buy it all for the home. I had previous versions in my old place, but not going to install outdated equipment in the new place. I'll put the 2nd gen doorbell, the 10 year old thermostat and the fax machine all together in the basement.

I just chatted with Google support and they said that the doorbell will be coming to the UK. he couldn't give me a date, so maybe it is, maybe it isn't....
