When will Google include Nest Cams in Routines?

When will google include Nest Cams in Routines so that you can turn them on and off by trigger items.

We have an attached apartment that my mother lives in. We'd like to put cameras in there to only turn on when she leaves. But since Home/Away routines only work when all users leave it defeats our desired purpose.

It seems like such a simple thing that should be integral to Google ecosystem.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this, as I can imagine it has been an inconvenience. I would love to look into this further for you.  If you have cameras still in the Nest app, you can look into setting up schedules with your cameras. See if that does the trick for your situation with your mother. Hope she's doing well!

Best regards,
Brad

How does a schedule have anything to do with the ability to automatically turn on and off based on one user departing? Cameras on and off need to be able to be triggered by an event if Home/Away routines are all or none. There is no schedule that would account for this and suggesting a schedule is a poor excuse for such a big lack in the Google ecosystem.
