Why do I need to use 2 diff. apps (Home & Nest) to view video history (24/7)?!

I have 2 Nest Cam Outdoors (wired) and 1 Nest Cam Battery.  I also have a Nest Aware Plus subscription.   I think it is ridiculous that I need to use two separate apps to view video history.  We have to use the Nest App to view video history (24/7) on our wired Nest Cam Outdoors.  We have to use the Google Home App to view the history on the Nest Cam Battery.  I can see "events" for all of my cameras in the Home App but why am I paying for 24/7 history if I can't easily view it.

I truly hope this is an "area of active research" and that Google has a plan to rectify this inconvenience.  Overall, the Nest App has a much better user interface than the Google Home camera interface. That said, I do like the idea of having all of my Nest and Google devices in one place (like the Google Home App).  But having people use two apps for one application seems poorly thought out.

Please fix this before I loose faith in Googles' progressive approach to smart home tech!🙏

I have the same issue as you. One wired and one battery. Extremely frustrating.

I also  have the same exact issue.  I previously had 2 wired 1st gen indoor nest cams with 24/7 monitoring and recently purchased an additional 2nd gen indoor nest cam as well as a nest hello doorbell.  Due to the my new camera being a 2nd gen I had to use the google home app to activate it as well as migrate from Nest to Google Home to finish setup. I did all of this and switched my old subscription to the new nest aware plus. My two 1st gen cameras do not show 24/7 live feed video history on the google home app, just event history while my new 2nd gen nest cam shows 24/7 live feed history non the google home app, but not the Nest app.  My nest app still shows 24/7 video feed for the two 1st gen cameras.  I thought it was just an issue on my end but it appears that this is how it is which is completely ridiculous that such a large tech company like Google would provide a service as poor as this.  I really hope that Google gets it together and allows us to view 24/7 feeds for all cameras (1st, 2nd and any future iterations) to be viewed on one app.
