Why is Sound detection not Available in Canada?

This was one of the features why I purchased a Google nest product. It makes no sense why this feature is not available in Canada!

If you have 2nd gen Google Nest cameras or doorbells (those installed in the Google Home app), none of them have any sound detection in any country, except for smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.  Our two 2nd gen cameras do NOT have the sound detection that is available in the Google Nest app for our 1st gen cameras and doorbells.

Isn't it available under Settings | Events | Heard events for the camera in the Google Home app?

Nope.  Just shows seen events !

when I checked online it says you must have a US address for heard events, which is ridiculous !

It should be disclosed in the product literature when you purchase a camera.
