Will nest doorbell Gen 2 work with my g-suit account?!

I see a lot of issues with nest products not working with G-suit users. I just bought the nest doorbell and need to make sure it will work with my g-suit account, otherwise I'll have to return it.

Hi @Nfrancis 

I don't see a clear indication that you should use a Gmail account only on Doorbell, but this article mention that some feature on the app on google home won't work on Google workspace: Link a Google Workspace account to the Google Home app

You need a personal Google (gmail) Account to use the Google Home app, including for the 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell.

Thanks @MplsCustomer.  All my other smart devices are connected to my G-suite account, does that mean that I have to start all over with a personal account if u want the doorbell to integrate with everything else or there is another way around it?!

I believe the sort answer is "no".

I don't know what your "other smart devices" are, but Google Nest says "Some Google Home app features are not available for Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) accounts. To access all Google Home app features available in your country, link a personal Gmail account instead" (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7571892).

And here they say you need a Google Account (i.e., a personal gmail account):

I had to return it based on the information I got here, really disappointing that Google can't fix this issue for it's paying customers.
