Wired Doorbell can not be joined to Home

Hi everyone,

I am struggling with my wired Nest Doorbell für quite some time now, I just do Not get it working the way I want it.

so there seems to be a Bug that once you have added the doorbell to a Home and then Dekrete the Doorbell From that home and Factory reset it, you can not add it to that home again. It shows an error NC009 for example which is a WiFi error, but it is obviously Not. If I create a new home in the Nest App I can add the Doorbell to it, it Works.

But with that new home, I can Not make it Ring on my Nest Mini when I press the Doorbell, becausw the Mini is in the initial home with all the Other Devices I have, to which I can Not add the Doorbell any More.

I have set the Necessary Option to get the notifications, it just does Not work.

I am very unsatisfied with this, it is absolutely not straightforward with the Nest and the Home App and interconnection between the different Devices.

Does anyone know how I could fix that Problem?

Fixed it partially Boy myself now, at least it is working. For everyone with the same problem:

Once you have factory resetted the doorbell it can Not be added to the same home again.

I have fixed this now by creating a new home and adding the Doorbell to it. Then the Nest Mini and also my android TV are shown as „local devices“, which does not mean they are really added to the newly created home. Therefore you need to add the Nest Mini and Android TV e.g. to the newly created home with the Doorbell, activate notification for visitors und the settings of the nest app and it works, the Nest Mini rings when I push the button of the doorbell.

you can leave all other devices in the „old“ home you have had before in Google Home, automations and everything still work as before even though your Nest Mini was added to a „new“ home.

Which stays are two bugs with the wired doorbell:

First once factory resetted I can not join the doorbell to a home it was joined to before.

Secondly I always get an initial Error when I try to add the doorbell to a new home after a factory reset. Second try works then.
