Wireless Doorbell

I currently have a wireless doorbell with a wireless chime box that I have replaced with a Nest Hello battery doorbell. 
I have connected everything via wifi and are using Google speakers in the house. 
My issues are:

Why can I not connect the Nest battery doorbell to connect to the old chime box wirelessly to make the chime ring? Or, can I buy a chime box that can connect to the Hello doorbell wirelessly?

Can I adjust the speaker volume of each speaker when the doorbell rings without having the speakers at max volume all the time?

Without having a wireless chime box hooked up, if the wifi is out or the power goes out how can I get notified if someone is at the door?
