Wiring diagram for Nest Hello amd Nest Doorbell wired 2nd gen with single chime

I've been running a Nest Hello on one door and a traditional doorbell on a second door for some time now. These are wired to a single chime. I've recently upgraded my traditional doorbell with a Gen 2 Nest doorbell, but I can't find a wiring diagram on how to wire to 2 together. I've found a schematic on how to wire 2 Nest Hellos together on a single chime and a schematic on how to wire 2 Nest Gen 2 doorbells on a single chime, but haven't been able to find one that wires one of each together. What is confusing is the original doorbell has a 4 wire puck and the Gen 2 has a 2 wire puck and neither schematic accounts for both. I did my best to piece the 2 schematics together and have both doorbells streaming video and connected to the home app, but I am not able to get the chime to work on the Gen 2 doorbell (Nest Hello chime works fine).

@Erikdamaral9

I'm just another Google Nest customer but I've seen numerous postings in this forum from customers who can't get their doorbell chime to ring with the new 2-wire "chime puck" that comes with the new 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell. Several of those have gotten replacement doorbells just so they could get a replacement "chime puck".

It's too bad Google Nest doesn't provide a wiring diagram for a 4-wire "chime connector" on one doorbell and a 2-wire "chime puck" on the other doorbell.

I'm just guessing, but perhaps there is also an issue when using the 4-wire "chime connector" and the 2-wire "chime puck" in the same installation.

You could try contacting Support (https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp) and hope you get someone with specific knowledge on this situation.

Hi everyone,

Apologies for the late reply. I searched threads specifically for the solution of the gen 2 doorbell not triggering the door chime and the solutions did not work for me. At this point, is my only option to contact Google support?

Thanks
