Yet one more nest doorbell peeling

Same deal as everyone else who has had this issue. Perhaps about a year ago I noticed my doorbell was flaking around the edges. I did not think much of it, but it has since deteriorated significantly to the point I am fairly certain it is mostly gone. I assume this is bad for the camera as whatever the film was, I am sure it was meant to protect the camera sensor. This is even more unfortunately given that the door location here is fairly protected from the elements and sun due to surrounding trees and the direction the door is facing (lots of shade). First of my cameras to have this issue, though not my first problem with Nest in general :(. I have been a nest aware subscriber for years, but if I cannot get a replacement for this, I will be really disheartened, given the cost and effort that went into installing this device. Hoping google can send me a replacement.
