Ripped Brown Strip inside doorbell

Gen 1 Outdoor Camera Serial Number Issue

I'm trying to add a 1st Gen Wired Outdoor camera to my Nest app. I've input the 6 digit product code, but the app does not list the serial number so I'm unable to complete the set up. How do I get the app to show the serial number?
