my subscription lapsed by not a full day and after renewing it cameras are still not working and i am not able to connect to wifi. do i need to wait some time for them to be re-activated?  unplug and plug in did not help. 
 
second question is why my both cameras were completely turned off when i believe they should still be working even without a subscription only not recording?
 
thirdly Google could try harder in reminding to renew, only one email came through which i missed. Auto-renewal is not an option form me as i find it very sneaky.

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. It is correct that your cameras should be giving you a live feed as long as they have a strong wifi signal, even without a Nest Aware subscription. I would try to restart your cameras, or even factory reset them if that doesn't work. But no reason for the lapse in Nest Aware sub to make them not turn on. What other troubleshooting steps have you done?
