i can hear sounds from my nest camera microphone but when i try to speak to someone outside it doesnt work

I'm having the same issue with Nest cam wired indoor. Everything was working just fine until a week ago. I can hear everything through camera, but I can't speak through it. I've removed the cam from my phone and reinstalled it. I also removed the app from my phone and reinstalled it and it still doesn't work.

Gotta love google and their automated, script reading robots that understand how frustrating my situation may be, and thanks for my patience", don't help me or address my question whatsoever then ask if I need more help...smh...its sad..... But the Same sorta thing happening to me. Since I got my wired indoor nest cam brand new out of the box it says you can converse back and fourrh so when I attempt to talk I hear the audible chime but my actual voice isn't heard. I can hear everything going on on the other end but my audio won't go thru...so I assume that Google isn't going to provide any advice or fix for this problem and we are on our own like usual!!!!

That is a known issue and we do not yet have a solution to it. I can suggest that you make sure that your phones volume isn't turned up all the way, and see if that makes a difference as I have seen that work fine for some users. Give it a try, and if it doesn't work then I would ask you to wait until there is a solution to this issue.
