When setting up the two indoor /outdoor cams, I'm only able to connect to the 'google home app' and not the nest app. Now, I have 4 different cameras already that I started with and connected with the nest app, back before the merge and can see all four just fine in the nest app. Now that I've purchased the two indoor/outdoor, I cannot get it on the nest app. I can see all 6 six cameras on the google home app. Thoughts?
Just to be clear, I want to see all 6 cameras on the 'nest app' as I like this app better as its more user friendly and easier to pullup and see.

Unfortunately--as we discovered when we bought a Google Nest Camera (Battery) 11 months ago, Google Nest decided that its new cameras and doorbells released starting in the fall of 2021 will work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website--even though they're still branded "Nest".
We have 2 of the newer cameras and have had to use 2 apps since Sept. 2021 because we also have the older Google Nest cameras, which are still administered and receive notifications in the Google Nest app.
Google Nest's Vice President posted this blog back in Sept. 2021 promising to do something about this 2-app solution, but there's been no update whatsoever since:

I ran into the same issue. For that reason I returned the new cameras and purchased some previous generation Gen 1 cameras from ebay so I can stay working in the NEST app ONLY for now. As soon as Google releases an update to the Google Home app that makes it a lot closer to the NEST app I will go our and purchase new cameras. But until then I'm staying put with the Gen 1 cameras (Sorry Google).
