During the setup of my nest doorbell, it appears to connect to my home network and set itself up, displaying an "all set" message on the app. But then it tries to download an update but gets stuck at 0% - for more than 12 hours.
I have tried factory resetting the device, a different wifi network, setting up a new home in the app, even uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my phone, all without success.
All my other google home devices work fine, but this is giving me grief... Please help me!

In case it helps someone, it would appear that there's some issue between the device and my router. If I use a phone as a hotspot, I don't have the issue and the devices proceeds with downloading an update and then finishing set up as it should.
Unfortunately, I cannot determine the the problem with the router and the device. That might require a conversation between me and my ISP.

Hmmmmm, that is odd. Who is the ISP and what kind of router do you have?

My Australian ISP is iiNet and we have 'wireless' wifi.

So now that you have completed the update using your phone as a hot spot, when you switch back to your ISP and WIFI is everything everything else working okay now?
