I have brand new battery bell. Fully charged. I have a nest/home account on a new iphone SE, and this door bell is my first home/nest device.
I can't get my home app to load the device because I repeatedly get the error message: “Problem connecting to cloud, please try again later'"
Nothing I try to do makes any difference.
My house wifi is provided Virgin Media.

Same problem here. Looks as if the doorbell isn’t communicating with the iPhone Bluetooth. Did you find a fix? I’ve reset both devices numerous times.

I am sorry to hear that you are still having this issue! It could be an issue with your mobile phone connection, or an issue with bluetooth possibly if it is not picking up on the device. Which iOS is your iPhone on? I have seen some reports of issues with iOS 15 for some folks. What I can recommend now is trying a different phone to get it installed if you can. Preferably a non-apple product if you can.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Best regards,
Brad.

Andrew, the Nest doorbell needs a Home account with a "gmail.com" extension (not a business extension). Could that be your problem?

Hi there. Though my address is a business extension my nest account uses a '.goolemail.com' home address so thanks but that's not the solution.
As most of the world use Apple devices this is not a great solution. how in the world can everyone with a nest bell use a non ios phone to set it up? I'll see if I know anyone with a non apple phone and thy that. I wish these could be set up on a laptop.
Ill keep you posted.

Hi Brad. I still need help.
I have a big family but nobody with a google phone.
As you thought it might be the most recent iOS I have just tried using a phone running iOS 14.7.1 and have the same problem.
If using a google phone would I need to just log in to Google Home using my own details, set it up, and then log in from my iphone and should just then be working?

Hey folks.
Try to Factory Reset your device, remove it if you have too and then set it up again. Re-establishing those connections should help you out. This is still an issue that is ongoing and being looking into.
Best regards,
Brad.
