"Device offline due to a battery issue"

My doorbell (about five months old) went offline this morning, I know it had a lot of charge left. When I unmounted it and plugged it in to the charger the app declared "Device offline due to a battery issue". When I push the button it says it has 80% left. What do I do now?

I'm sorry to hear, in this case I'd go for a reset, or if that doesn't solve the issue, do a factory reset, see:

I tried that - removed it from the app, etc.

It let me re-add it so clearly it can communicate.

Then it said saying 'camera off because of temperature' - I'm in the UK, it gets cold but not massively so (currently 10c/50f which is well within specs).

I suspect some sensor in there has gone wrong.

Paid with paypal so I've gone down that route.
