remount this device once its charged to see live videos and receive notifications

Hello,

 

I'm trying to see live video from my nest indoor outdoor camera (battery). I've successfully added and removed it's 2x but I keep getting this message 'remount this device once its charged to see live videos and receive notifications' 

What does it mean to remount this device? Why can't I just enable it and see live video?

You need to connect the magnetic back to the camera. It won't stream live video without being 'mounted', ie. The magnet on the back..

Even if you told it in the setup you were using the 1/4-20 treaded to install it where you wanted it.

Hello again,

 

Checking in, and wanted to ask if you are making sure that it is connected to its magnetic base? Check the positioning and make sure there is no debris in the way of the magnetic base and the camera. Id restart the device as well again, and then try to set it back up, first checking to make sure it connects and magnatizes.
