Adjust bass and treble level - I don't have Equalizer

Vorike

Hi!
I have a Chromecast Ultra device. Equalizer is not available in the Home app (Android) Settings.
I would like to Adjust bass and treble level.
Can you help me?

I know about these settings, but my opinion is that the EQ option appear only on selected devices, in certain configurations, like when you connect Bluetooth speakers or headphones.

I didn't test this theory untul now, because in my audio system I use separate components, like DJ decks, mixer, external equaliser with built-in feedback suppressor, external crossover with built-in limiters, two 15 inch main speakers and two 18 inch subwoofers.

I never use the phone EQ applications.

I will put a Bluetooth receiver in the chain to test my theory and let you know.

If you like, you can ask a question on Google support messageboard about the equaliser.

Access TV audio settings and use its built-in EQ, if available.

It is connected to an AV Reciver. Changing the AV Reciver settings is not enough.

How come using an AV receiver built-in equalisation is not enough? It should be more than enough, even extreme and undesirable in some scenarios.

If equalisation is not effective, it could mean that the source material is poorly mixed and mastered, the room has acoustic problems or the speaker placement is not correct. Keep in mind that in an untreated room, a very large percent of the sound you are hearing is the room itself.

When using equalisation it is desirable to cut on frequencies, rather than boost them.

Would you care to elaborate on this?

What would you like to obtain?

I have a Denon AVR-X2700H AV receiver. It has practically only the automatic EQ (Audyssey). This adjusts the sound according to the room. The acoustics of the room are not 100%, but I deal with improving the acoustics. Sounds pretty good when I'm not using Chromecast.

What issue are you trying to solve?

I lower the treble.
...and a little in the middle.

Did you use any of the MultEQ XT equalisation profiles?

Disable dynamic EQ to be able to use the Tone control (shelving EQ) for bass and treble.

Disable the midrange compensation.

What size and shape is your room?

Thank you for the information. I've tried dynamic EQ off. Unfortunately, Denon EQ is not effective.
The room is ############ square meters.
But can you answer my original question?
Why don't I see the Trieble and bass option in the Google Home app?

I also don't have the equaliser option in my Google Home application.

But you can use the Heos application to adjust the sound settings, including the bass and treble, on your AV receiver, because it is has built-in Heos technology.

Also, if you are not using big tower speaker in your system, ensure your speakers are set to small in the AV receiver settings and set the crossover values to no more than 80 Hz for all speakers, except for the ceiling or upfirering speakers (if available).

Thanks. I've tried these before.
What do you think about that?

I connected the Chromecast device to a Bluetooth audio receiver. The sound is working, but the equaliser still don't show up in device settings.
